As a little girl from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Barbie was always rearranging and making updates to her dollhouse. On nice days, she would be outside playing in the yard creating a garden with flowers and seeds she collected from neighbors and nature. Not realizing it until after leaving home, she had spent much of her time in a classic and thoughtful, well-organized, well-loved, quality-over-quantity home. This influenced her toward a vocational path, igniting her passion for design and setting her on a long career with interiors. 

After university, Barbie worked at Paul’s Flowers, Laura Ashley Home, Buchanan Designs, and more. On the side, she would decorate friends’ homes, give color consultations, and help with lighting and textile choices. Finally, in 2024, Home Revival was launched with help and encouragement from family, friends, and partners in the real estate industry. Home Revival now offers home staging services and home styling consulting in Michiana.

Finding ways to include nature in her designs has always been a high priority through colors, natural materials, fabrics, and, of course, flowers. Home is where we spend most of our time. Revival is a chance to reawaken that space. Together, with thought and planning, we can make your home reflect you this coming year. 

Barbie resides in Michiana with her husband Andy, three children, and spaniel Buckeye.
